Senior Sunrise Starts the Year Off Jovially

On Friday, August 18th from 6:30 am to 7:30 am, the senior class got together on the football field for their recurring Senior Sunrise tradition.

Senior Sunrise, a tradition that goes back at least 4 years, happens at the beginning of every year for rising seniors to meet up and spend time together before diving into the year.

“I feel great about senior sunrise. It’s nice to have a tradition within the school and to do something you look forward to when you are a senior. ” Melanie Perez (12) said.

Senior Sunrise brings the seniors hope for the future. At the end of the year, seniors go to Senior Sunset which helps bring them closer, as a community, for their last days in high school.

“I am looking forward to having fun and making memories before I leave school,” Brian Sanchez (12) said. Most seniors are ready to start their year. They are prepared for their last year in high school.
