It was a chilly afternoon in Tyson Park as the Lady War Eagles took on the Lady Bulldogs. Temperatures ranged from 34 degrees to just 27 as snow fell on the diamond. An impressive performance from the War Eagles resulted in a big first conference win, pushing Heritage to 3-1 overall. Coach Taylor’s War Eagles seem to have not lost pace with last years record setting season. The main highlight from last nights dub is Lora Brown’s two home runs and six runs batted in. After being robbed of a home run last week against Greenwood, Brown got revenge. From the mound, Pollock pitched five innings, allowing one hit and racking up nine strikes. Paulo came in the sixth and allowed one hit, who would gain an unearned run.
