Movers For Moms

Two Men and a Truck host a nonprofit donation system every spring. Two Men and a Truck locations around the country partner with more than 800 local organizations, schools, businesses, and franchises to accept donations that will be given out by Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 13th) to mothers living out of shelters. Two Men and a Truck will be the ones to deliver the items to hundreds of partnered shelters nationwide. Two Men and A Truck do this not only to give back to the community, but also to show their deep appreciation for mothers and their efforts regardless of their circumstances. They chose to deliver the items on Mother’s Day because they hope to make a difference for mothers who otherwise may have been underappreciated or even forgotten on the holiday. This seems to be effective, because more than 295,000 items were donated last year, which was record breaking for them.

In the past decade that the program has been in place, a total of more the one million donations have been distributed.

Movers for Moms donation boxes are set out now, ready to be filled with essential care items! While accepted donations are determined by individual shelters, commonly needed items include but are not limited to: hygiene products (soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste), pillows, blankets, clothing, shoes, nonperishable foods, etc. Help local mothers in need feel appreciated on Mother’s Day, and give a little back to the community.

There are nine donation sites in Northwest Arkansas this year. If you are interested in opening another collection site, email [email protected] .
