The war eagle baseball team begins their 2017 season on Tuesday, February 21st in a benefit game against Siloam Springs. Last year, Heritage went 10-18 overall and 4-10 in conference play, under Coach Cameron. It was his first year as head coach. This year, he looks to lead the War Eagles to a winning season. With losses to last year’s seniors, Olsen, Carmichael and Sams, and Kitterman to football, he’ll lean on the talents of Wichita State commit Logan Easley. The 6’0 senior is a threat in the box, and defensively he is an RHP and shortstop. Other assets for this year’s team include Ethan Gates (SR/C), Dylan Qualls (JR/P), Noah Guill (SR/P), and Montana Kennan (JR/OF). Heritage will be in Springdale when Conference play begins on March 13th.
