The lady War Eagles (2-1) fell short in their efforts on Wednesday night against Greenwood (4-0) 8 to 7. Heritage posted incredible numbers from the box, including a 4 players batting above .500 as well as senior Kelsey Hamlin and junior Alexa Enos both blasting 2 RBI home runs. Pollock had a forgetful appearance on the mound allowing 7 runs, including a grand slam from Greenwood’s Mariah Hamilton. Freshman Kayla Paulo stepped in for the senior and got the War Eagles out of the inning. Paulo posted a 2.1 ERA and allowed the winning run.
