  • Leave purses at home or in car

Males

  • Dark slacks (no khakis; NO jeans)

Tassels should hang over the right temple and are moved to the left when announced during the ceremony.

Caps

  • The cap should fit on the head so it is parallel to the ground.  (Students with longer hair may need bobby pins to keep in place.)
  • Do not put your cap on the back of your head so that it is pointing up.
  • Girls may wear their cap during the entire ceremony; boys must remove their cap during the National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance & Alma Mater.
  • Caps are worn during the Baccalaureate service.
  • Caps may be thrown at the conclusion of the graduation exercises.  Please write your name inside your cap and retrieve it if you throw it.
