Big Names coming to the Walmart AMP this Summer

The Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion is one of the largest attractions in Northwest Arkansas for people of all age groups. The AMP has hosted notable performers since it was established in 2014. This year is equally exciting, as these musicians are already scheduled to visit.

While sitting down with two freshmen at Rogers Heritage High School, twins Hudson and Thatcher Downard, the two very excited for the big names making an appearance this summer in Rogers. The two both favored Macklemore, saying that he was more appealing to their age group. Thatcher Downard said, “When Travis Scott came to the AMP, it was one of the craziest experiences of my life. There were so many of my friends there, and it seemed like everyone there was either a Mounite, War Eagle, or Tiger. There was so much hype surrounding the event, and La Flame (Travis Scott) definitely lived up to those expectations.” Both of the twins agreed that Macklemore probably wont be as crazy of an experience, but that he can still put on a great show. As Macklemore, Niall Horan, and Charlie Puth continue throughout their respective tours, the exhilarating anticipation continues to build in Northwest Arkansas.
