Students Adapt Holiday Plans (…or not)

Due to COVID-19, the plans of many students are kept from their typical traditions.

Some students have had their plans altered drastically, while many others said they weren’t very concerned about COVID this year

“My family and I are still going to California despite covid. We won’t let that stop us,” HHS freshman Jocelyn Delgado said.

One student had their family plans to travel to California cancelled out of concerns for safety. Another student was kept from traveling to Mexico this year. Often the holidays are students’ only opportunity to see their loved ones.

Many who weren’t affected are staying home or don’t have many family members at high risk.

Depending on your personal circumstances, this holiday could change drastically, or it could stay exactly the same.
