DECA is a club offered at Heritage High School. DECA stands for the Distributive Education Club of America. It prepares students for real life situations and academically prepares you, teaches you professional responsibility, and is community oriented.

DECA readies emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. Competitions are involved and awards are won.

“We have the best students, we have people who want to be a part of something where they get to meet other people, and the relationships that are formed are the best part.” – Moulder

DECA has multiple teaching opportunities and relationships to be made, creating a healthy environment for growth and chances to succeed in their day to day life.

“My favorite part about DECA is the suits we get to wear and we go to competitions, and it’s crazy to be apart of all of it” Myriam Cano (10)

Overall DECA is a great learning experience. Not only is it easy to join, but it’s affordable, fun, and proactive.
