Heritage had their first debate tournament of the school year. September 30th and October 1st, their first debate tournament at Bentonville High School on Friday September 30th, 2022.

There were over 100 entries, and so many events going on. They began getting their rounds at 4:50, and by 6:00 at least everyone had begun their first round, some going to their second round.  The War Eagles went home with 11 total state championships, including two seniors, nine sophomores, and one freshman. Students from all around gathered to attend this event.

All in all, the debate tournament went amazing for the War Eagles. They plan to go back better than ever and dominate again!
