“Debate helps with public speaking in a profession and helps get rid of the fear of speaking in public,” said Wayne Levering, the debate coach. 

Debate can fulfill the oral communications requirement for graduation, and it is part of a  track of classes that allow students to level up to Debate IV. 

Debate also holds multiple tournaments including a state tournament for students  to enjoy.

If students are struggling to find an elective class for their schedule, they should consider Debate because of its many benefits.
