This year’s Heritage High School boys and girls track teams are off to a great start.

The teams have completed 3 varsity meets. They traveled to Joplin on April 16 and competed in a varsity meet.

“I believe our teams have been prepared for the season and are competing really well so far,” said Coach Miles. “I think we have a few adjustments to make but I feel we will be ready to compete and possibly win conference and state.”

The track teams will be hosting one more home meet.

We also asked Junior Gavin Harder, do you think the track teams have met the expectations for this year’s track season? “No we did not meet our expectations as a team because we are still not performing to our best abilities,” he said.
