Richard Hayes Phillips is visiting
March 7, 2017
Folksinger/songwriter/published author, Richard Hayes Phillips, will be appearing at the Second Monday Salon on Monday, March 13th at 6:30 pm at The Gathering. This even is sponsored by Trolley Line Book Shop, a local business in downtown. Phillips will be coming from the Adirondack Mountains of New York, and this will be his first Ozark appearance. He plays four different instruments and has played in many places around the world. Phillips also has written a trilogy of history books. His books identify the names of 5,000 children who were sold into slavery in colonial Maryland and Virginia. If possible, he locates the children’s parents, tracks survivors and descendants, and exposes the British child trafficking industry.
