Pricilla Perez, Writer

JonBenet Ramsey was only six years old when she was found murdered on December 26th, 1996, in her own home. Over the course of the past few months, there’s been a resurgence of the JonBenet case. Magazines have come out with headlines saying they’ve solved her murder, and now, CBS has started a documentary series called The Case of JonBenet Ramsey. Their goal is to “tell the truth about what happened to JonBenet Ramsey.” The crime happened 20 years ago. JonBenet would have been 26 years old at the time of the documentary’s release.

In the first episode, Laura Richards and Jim Clemente gather a group of researchers including Dr. Henry Lee, Jim Fitzgerald, James Kolar, Stan Burke, and Dr. Werner Spitz to go over the ransom note and listen to the 911 call. They try to uncover quotes in the letter, and they pay special attention to different parts of the call to police. Laura Richards and Jim Clemente also go over possible theories about the actual death of JonBenet.

The first episode reels you in. The mysterious murder and the unsolved case makes you want to watch more.
