Pre-AP readiness

Over the summer of 2016, there will be a Pre-AP readiness camp for students who are eager to know more. This is for the Northwest Arkansas advanced initiative for math and science (AIMS) high school advanced placement students who are taking one op the following courses during the 2016-2017 school year: AP Literature, AP Language, AP Calculus, AP Biology, and/or AP Chemistry.  The camp is July 18-22 from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. It is a day camp, meaning overnight accommodations will not be provided to those who attend.  It will be at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock at the Peabody/GradEd Building.  This day camp is no cost and a light breakfast, snacks, and lunch are provided.  World-class presenters and mentors who will continue to assist students throughout the  2016-17 school year.  A drawing for door prizes and incentives will be held each day which includes a variety of gifts ranging from gift cards to things from local shops. A final drawing will be held on that Friday for those with perfect attendance to the camp that includes iPad Minis.
