Ohio High School Football Player Dies during Game

Some sad news in sports today after a 17-year-old high school football player named Andre Jackson died a few days ago from a game related injury during a football game with his home team in Euclid, Ohio.

The striking blow to the abdomen after the game’s kickoff caused fractures and became inflamed, which blocked vital functions and eventually killed him.

This heavily affected the high school, considering that he was noted as one of the most positive influences in the student body, with a reassuring smile and good sports skills.  The school described him as “a hardworking student-athlete that brought smiles to all those with whom he came in contact.”
