My 18th Birthday

Callie Marie CB

Today marks the day of 18 years of my life.

This birthday is one of the few highly significant years. I now can register to vote. I can change my name. I can buy cigarettes and go to clubs and get a tattoo, which I plan to do (get a tattoo, not the cigarettes and clubbing). You guys, I am an adult.

I cannot begin to tell you how many things I still yet do not know. Does this mean I am going to have to start worrying about taxes and all of that? How do I put my car in my name? How do I do literally any “grown up” activity besides laundry and cooking?

Seriously…If you are an adult reading this, find me and HELP.

Alright, I am much overreacting. 18 is NOT that scary and I am full of hype to start my “adult” years. It has been such a good childhood and my childhood is far from over.

What is really important is all the treats and presents I will be receiving – that is what a birthday is really about. Not to sound selfish and spoiled, but I do love the occasional special treatment; Who doesn’t?

Happy Birthday to myself (and a million other people).

Shout-out to all other Libra’s born on October 14th. HAPPY BDAY!

XOXO
