FX’s Feud: Bette and Joan

Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon will be starring in FX Network’s newest upcoming TV show Feud: Bette and Joan. Feud: Bette and Joan is yet another FX TV show by Ryan Murphy, a very successful screenwriter, director, and producer known for his work on Glee, American Horror Story, Scream Queens, and more.  Tim Minear, executive producer of American Horror Story, will be co-running Feud with Murphy. Brad Pitt, Dede Garner, Jaffe Cohen, and Michael Zam are also producers of Feud.

Lange retired from American Horror Story after 4 seasons, but she will be joined for Feud by some of the series’ other actresses: Sarah Paulson and Kathy Bates. Both Lange and Sarandon have an extensive history in television, and they have many awards for their work. Other actors with roles in Feud include Alfred Molina, Stanley Tucci, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kiernan Shipka, and more.

Feud: Bette and Joan will air on March 5, 2017. The first season will have eight episodes, and it will be about the battle behind the scenes of actresses Bette Davis (Sarandon) and Joan Crawford (Lange) on their 1962 film Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?. Murphy is typically very good about keeping his new works below the radar, but this is what has been revealed to his fans.

Based on the success of what Ryan Murphy has already aired, it’s safe to have high expectations for Feud: Bette and Joan. With two actresses like Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon, there will be a lot of sass. We highly anticipate the new FX show.
