Huffington Post posted a video showing seven rappers that are giving back. These rappers have been giving back to charities and communities.
- Chance the Rapper started a social media campaign to stop Chicago murders and gun violence. He also raised $100k to help Chicago schools in need.
- Big Sean started the Sean Anderson Foundation to assist and educate children in Detroit.
- The Game donated $1 million dollars in water bottles to the Flint Water Crisis, and founded the Robin Hood Project that donated $1 million to people worldwide.
- Kendrick Lamar donated hundreds of dollars to Compton schools and locals charities.
- J.Cole who started the Dreamville Foundation to support urban youth.
- Drake donated $75k to create a studio at Philadelphia high school.
- Nelly has been sending two students to college every year for the past ten years.
- Bonus-Akon who helped bring electricity to 600 million people in Africa.
