Marvel is releasing multiple movies in the next few years, and we’ve compiled all of them into a list below, the release dates and descriptions intact.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Release date: May 5, 2017

Details: The sequel to Marvel’s hit 2014 space flick, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will have the team face up against Nebula, a vengeful space pirate, and Ayesha, a new villain to the cinematic universe with immense power.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Release date: July 6, 2017

Details: What makes this Spider-Man film stand out from the others is that it’s actually produced by Marvel rather than Sony. In addition, it will be set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, meaning it will include characters like Iron Man in the mix. The villain this time around is none other than the Vulture, a scheming criminal with ferocious flight abilities.

Thor: Ragnarok

Release date: November 3, 2017

Details: Thor returns to his homeland of Asgard, where a new villainess called Hela, the goddess of death, has invaded. Not much is known about this one, since it doesn’t release for many months, but the trailer shows Hulk in heavy armor, most likely as part of the infamous Planet Hulk comic storyline.

Black Panther

Release date: February 16, 2018

Details: Following the dramatic events of Captain America: Civil War, T’Challa resumes his role as the Black Panther in his home country of Wakanda. But Man-Ape, a rival fighter and challenger of T’Challa’s throne, is ready to fight him for the chance to get it.

Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 & 2

Part 1 release date: May 4, 2018

Part 2 release date: May 3, 2019

Details: These two massive Avengers flicks will bring Thanos, the lingering baddie from many previous Marvel films, into the villainous spotlight, as his quest to retrieve the powerful Infinity Stones continues. Both the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy are supposedly teaming up to defeat him, along with many other new characters.

Captain Marvel

Release date: March 8, 2019

Details: Captain Marvel will finally get her first MCU flick in 2019. Due to the far away release date, very little is known about it, other than it will fit in with the rest of the MCU storyline.

So far, these are all of the known upcoming Marvel movies in the next few years. The studio is surely keeping up with its productions, and it’ll be great to hear more about what they have in store.
